Prestack Depth Migration |

2D/3D Kirchhoff Prestack DEPTH Migration Software PSDM is a Kirchhoff based prestack depth migration. It runs using travel time files generated by Raytracer, a wavefront reconstruction travel time generator. The migration will image beyond ninety degrees, which will allow the use of turning waves to image salt overhangs. PSDM can image from a fixed datum or a floating datum/topography as your project requires. With PSDM you have complete control of the output you can generate. You can select the inlines and crosslines you wish to output and the offset ranges and increments. You have the ability to specify the migration aperture as a function of depth, and the output frequency as a function of depth. These specifications can greatly reduce the runtime of the jobs, and it tells the software what dips and frequencies are really needed by your particular job. The Tsunami depth migration includes a paraxial ray tracer and a high performance Eikonal travel time solver. The travel time tables are created as a separate job and are then used by the PSDM module as well as the tomography module. While the ray tracer uses the advanced wave front reconstruction method, its performance is that of other vendors Eikonal solvers. Time and Depth Migrations Texas Gulf Coast Salt Dome
